After Chuck Mosely was fired from Faith No More in 1988, they sought out Mike Patton as a replacement after Jim Martin showed the rest of FNM a Mr. Bungle demo. Mike Patton joined FNM as a side project, his main project being MB, but Patton's bio reads:
"Mike Patton first gained fame for his vocal work for the metal band FAITH NO MORE, and after they disbanded in 1998 produced some excellent RIO/Avant-prog with MR. BUNGLE"
Mr. Bungle had been putting out albums since 1991, 7 years before FNM's disbanding, & had been selling demos since 1986.
It seems misleading to imply that Patton went on to MB after FNM ended, when he never left MB in the first place. ------------- 729 |

I would prefer something like this:

After FNM disbanded in 1998 he recorded one last album with MR. BUNGLE before forming the crazed and theatrical avant-metal band FANTÔMAS. He recorded his two little-known solo albums while touring with FAITH NO MORE. "
