Used for me.

Poor representation of all their stuff. I strongly resent the lack of any Scarsick selections. I would have definitely picked Disco Queen. That song succeeds on so many levels, and even better, it pisses off tons of people.

From the list, probably People Passing By.

Without a doubt, "The Perfect Element."

Well it pisses me off because it's painfully awful. Dead

Beyond the Pale is my favourite song in general, its just got a little something that puts it ahead of The Perfect Element or Inside Out

Nice selection. I'll go with A Trace Of Blood followed by Used.

You mean you wouldn't pay good money to see it live?  For shame. Tongue

People Passing By for me. And it saddens me that Scarsick and Road Salt One don't have any tracks included on here.

Anyways:

My pick was Beyond the Pale. Even as a standalone, it is my favourite. When you listen to all of Remedy Lane then end with that, it is indescribable.

I agree, even though I wouldn't have voted differently, Sisters at the very least deserves a mention

I'm surprised by the votes for used, I dont like it much at all.  My list would be something like this:
1.  A Trace of Blood
2. Beyond the Pale
3. The Perfect Element
4. Leaving Entropia
5. Undertow
Pain of Salvation sure knows how to end an album, 3 of my 5 are the last song

Out of these, I'd probably say A Trace of Blood as well. I will not let Used win this.

Am I the only one who actually wants this to be a real song?

You're posting in a prog site. Of course you're not the only one.

I don't like the zero representation of Scarsick, Linoleum, and Road Salt One, but my favorite wouldn't have been from any of these albums anyway. For me this is an impossible choice, considering all of their albums (even Scarsick) are great. Right now, it's King of Loss followed closely by The Perfect Element, Water, and Her Voices.

Idioglossia for me, an 8 minute goosbumps moment.

Its a shame Gone and Innocence werent added to the list, not that I'd have voted for them, but it would have been nice to see.

I was both surprised and tickled pink to see "Pluvius Aestivus Of Summer Rain (Homines Fabula Initium)" as an option.  It easily picked up my vote.  While certainly not the most representative song of theirs, it is nonetheless, the most beautiful in my opinion.

can´t understand the fascination with beyond the pale really.

from remedy lane: of two begginings, trace of blood, this heart..., are much better songs in my opinion.

Call me the silly pop whore, but I vote Ashes. Its easily their darkest, most concise song. No frills - just frowns. :P

I voted Fandango because I enjoy going to the movies and it's a crazy song... It was hard not to go with trace of Blood.

I would've liked to have seen Pilgrim or Scarsick on there, but it's not the end of the world.
