Yes, another negative poll. I know how much you all love these, so I thought I'd make another. Which of the three do you think is the least good?
For me, Selling England by a spectacular margin.

Selling England isn't quite as even as the other two, so it gets my vote.

I'm not going to vote. I can't see the point of polls such as these, sorry.
I've had a spending splurge this last few weeks, and brought a pile of new prog. I've also started converting my vinyl to digital. I'm having a hell of a time either listening to either brand new prog, or revisiting stuff I haven't heard in ages.
Therefore, I probably won't listen to these three great albums for a while, but they will always hold a special place for me, bringing back the wonder of when I first heard them back in the distant past of the 1970's.
There is no worst of these three. They are all absolute classics that helped to shape the genre we love.

All masterpieces, so there is no "worst" indeed and maybe this poll is a candidate for a 'three worst polls'-poll.
Nevertheless I voted for Nursery Cryme because it's a little bit less amazing than the other two albums.

This. I don't think there's a "worst" out of these three, considering they are all equally amazing. Plus, I don't find anything about them dull. Each of these albums have a distinctive style to them and because of each album's uniqueness I appreciate all three.

Easy for me- I rated the earliest one four stars and the other two five stars. Nursery Cryme gets my vote here.

I love the three of them, but I think Selling England by the Pound is the album I get least enjoyment from the three.
Nursery Cryme has a spectacular mood and flow all through, though this was the album that took me a long time to appreciate as much as the others. Foxtrot has 5 tracks that vary from good to amazing, and the last track being the Genesis song.

That should win the prize for the most ridiculous post of the year. What you mean, preumably, is you don't like genesis, which is hardly the same thing

Id say Selling England.
Certainly has the highs just as high if not higher than the other two, but certainly the weakest (and longest weakest songs) from any of those three albums.

I'm not sure I can objectively say which one is "worst," but I know that I get slightly less enjoyment out of SEBTP than I do Foxtrot of Nursery Cryme. Selling England gets my vote, I suppose, but they're all very good albums.

The questioner asks for the worst of 'the' three great Genesis albums. Hovever, I would argue that everyone knows that The Lamb is one of 'the' great Genesis Albums.
I don't know which is least amazing.

Meh. I was just going for the 3 highest acclaimed. If you were to ask me my opinion, I'd say Selling England is the worst PG-era album. My three greats would be Foxtrot, Lamb, and Trespass.

I'd have to give to Selling England By The Pound. It has some good songs ("Dancing With The Moonlit Knight", "I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe)", "The Battle Of Epping Forest"), but it's not the end all-be all Genesis album.

Three all mighty albums.
1.- Foxtrot
2.- Selling England By The Pound
3.- Nursery Crime
In my opinion Nursery Crime is worst for the melody lack in "momentary lapses".

Sorry but even if the question is sensible I'm not gonna vote any of these 4 masterpices (I'm including The Lamb) as "the worst anything".
Each one of them is amazing for one or another reason, some is better in some respect and some other is better in another respect. Music is not a competitive sport where only one wins the match or the race.
