Hi There,

I have been trying to find a thread about the new year and the whole shebang. Since I hab-ve not find any (although I'm almost sure there is) I just want to post my feeling like I have used to do so for the last four years.

My feelings go as always to my friend Febus who left us two years ago. I will always remind our chat in December 2007 while we were talking about Led Zep.

I was telling him that each new year's eve, i was listening to the same song from the band. And the first one of the new year was also the same same. I have started this scenario in 2001 and have repeated it since then.

He was not not pushy to know which song I was talking about: he mentioned "Kashmir", "Dazed & Confused" etc. I never dare to tell him that THE song was "Stairway To Heaven".

This year is very special for me since I have lost my father a couple of months ago. I am deeply depressed and sad. My thoughts also go to Hughes who is also sharing some hard experience. I can only hope that 2011 will bring some hapiness in our lives.

My sincere condolences regarding your father, so sorry to hear that. It's an almost unbearable thing to lose someone you love.
