Each of King Crimson's 13 studio albums have had a title track (except Beat, but Heartbeat is adequate). Each of them have been quite good. So, which is your favorite? Over 40 years in the making, King Crimson never fails to impress me.

I made up my mind and went with Larks Tongues. Just brilliant stuff!

I'm between Court and Lark's Toungues... I'll have to go with Court because I just love that whole song, while Lark's Toungues I only like part 2.

I'll toss a vote to The Power To Believe being I don't think it will get too many votes and it is an excellent suite.

All the tracks are great though...sans Heartbeat.

Hey this is cool! I'll vote for Lizard, it's a really good song once you get the hang of it. Thumbs Up

I'm too pedantic to accept Heartbeat.

Even though I love The Court of the Crimson King and Red, today I'm in that In the Wake of Poseidon state of mind.

I'll go with Discipline, because I haven't heard all the parts of LTiA yet so I don't know if I like all four parts.

I'm throwin' another vote out there for "The Power to Believe".  That was the first song that I really 'got' by King Crimson.  Others came afterward, but "The Power to Believe" was the eye opener.

Discipline is too monotonous track for me. I prefer rather Indiscipline from that album, the song with strange mystery and nervous tension. Incidentally one of best Belew´s voice equilibration.

My vote is for the only both band and album title track.Wink

My heart says The Court of the Crimson King

My head says Larks' Tongues in Aspic

Together, they agree on Lizard.

It was between Islands, Starless and Bible Black and Lizard.
Lizard just because I love reptiles.

My three favourites are In the Court of the Crimson King, Islands and Red.
Islands is my choice.

If you love Reptiles, then you should Hate Lizard; have you heard the lyrics on "Prince Ruppert Awakes"?

"Burn a bridge and burn a boat,
stake a Lizard by the throat".

Larks Tongues in Aspic, slightly better than the Crimson King

I almost voted Larks but the words to Court are so magically meaningless and fun that I have to reconsider. The yellow jester in me shall decide.

The Court of the Crimson King, followed by Red, Three of a Perfect Pair and The Power to Believe.

...Man, people on this site really hate Starless and Bible Black, don't they?

I can't believe I'm only the fourth person to vote for ''In the Wake of Poseidon''. Such a great track. Some might call it a rehash of ITCOTCK but i think its a much better song and has one of  Greg Lake's best  vocal performances.

In the Court of the Crimson King without a second thought. Strikingly evocative and majestic.
