Well, here's a full option. I don't know if many of you have heard "Mind Drive". Quite a tasty bit.

Um.. Close to the Edge when it comes down to it. Yes's most praised song doesn't seem to be on the list though.

1) There is perhaps 1000th variation of the theme "Epic".
2) That´s good it´s entire collection at last.
3) I really dislike multiple voting. Almost always someone used to abuse it by multiple clicking to one option.
Heart Of The Sunrise is my choice.

As per other 3 song poll. I left Close to the Edge out knowing it would have ran away with the poll. Leaving that out I believe Awaken will run the poll. But that's just my thoughts.

Also, Yours Is No Disgrace is about as epic as it is possible to be (especially on Yessongs).

Wow this is impossible... I'm finding it difficult to choose between Close To The Edge, Gates Of Delirium, Heart Of The Sunrise, And You And I and Starship Trooper.
Think I'll go with Starship, because the acoustic version I heard on Anderson and Wakeman's recent tour was just absolutely amazing....

So many great options. I see someone messed with the poll with "The Solution" and "Journey. Hope they had fun.
Ritual is so soothing when Jon gets his vocals going. Sry bout mispelling of Delirium (thought you might not recognize it if I changed a letter),
As per other notes "That That Is" IS a nice piece as well.
And yes, Perpetual Change "Live" is around 20 minutes I believe.

Agreed. It seems very overlooked from those years i think it has some of Steve's most interesting guitar work in it |
I did like "Mind Drive" better than "That, That is"... I believe Mind Drive could have been amazing and at the level of the big epics of the 70's, but somehow they missed something. I guess it's not coherent enough, and it's got some rather annoying bits, though the acoustic tranquil bits are really beautiful, and the crazy keyboard driven ones are great too, but the cheesy ones in-between I don't like at all... still, my favourite song from Keystudio is "Be the One".
Another epic that I really like and which is usually overlooked is "Endless Dream".
However, my vote here is for "Awaken"... though it might just as well have been "Gates of Delirium".

I understand this is really a Rick Wakeman solo song, a studio shortened version of Journey to the Center of the Earth (and without orchestra). It's rather nice anyway.

I like your choices, but no Ritual?
And You & I, was overplayed (believe it or not). It is a great song, don't get me wrong. I'd just prefer others.

Hmm. I'd never heard of "The Solutiion" (sic) and I had to google it to find out where it was from (never got round to getting Open Your Eyes due to the bad reviews). However, given the almost universal flack that album gets, I'm surprised to see this track has more votes than "And You and I". Is it that good?
