Why they are so underrated. We never discussed about them, they're great. I love "J.B. must die" and "The low spark...". ------------- For every truth even the contrary is true...

Those two albums (JBMD & LSOHHB) are really outstanding but Shootout at Fantasy Factory is even better. The live album On The Road gets often a bad rap , but this is a very fine album, too! Early Traffic albums are less essential for progheads because the are more psych folk rock , but there are some real gems such as Dealer , Dear Mr Fantasy and 40000 Headmen. Winwood had an outstanding soulful voice , a bit as Chris Farlowe did (albeit not in the same tone at all) and both came from R'n B background. Sadly Jim Capaldi died early this year. I had to fight long and hard to get them in the Archives , thanks again mailto:M@X - M@X !!!

Yes, great band...I'm still investigating (haven't heard Shooutout At
The Fantasy Factory). Steve Winwood is one of my all time favorite
singers!

You could try the search function I like them too, as you can see because of the avatar I use. Doesn't anybody use the search function anymore? People post threads about Cardiacs, Nick Cave, Residents e.a. and don't try to find out if there already exists a topic about them! Sorry, had to get this out

He's my drum God. I'm a drummer myself. Read my posts on "best drummer" polls, where for some reason (probably too few know him; anyone who ever heard him would immediately name him, if he knew anything about drumming) he is always left out. ------------- BaldJean and I; I am the one in blue. |
