The Shaggs are probably my favorite band, so my vote goes to them.

I voted for the one that Frank Zappa said was better.

How is it that the beatles are almost surpassing the shaggs. There is not a single reason anyone should dislike the shaggs. I do not understand why no one likes them at all.

I'm sorry, but being different doesn't make them good.

It makes them interesting, and I find their story interesting. For me the Shaggs are in more of the they're so bad they're great category, but I genuinely enjoy their music.

Yeah. Joke. Good.

Imagine a 90 minute concert from either (giving everyone involved is alive...)

FZ's tongue firmly in cheek... anyway he preferred the Stones to The Quarrymen. And Varese to either.

I think I'll retreat to The Song Remains The Same.

"... For me, one song about your real life is worth ten "professional" songs....." - Jonathan Richman

Unless your real life is a complete and utter bore. LOL

In all seriousness, I'd rather have a world with the Shaggs than one without it.
