Because what the world needs now is hamtaahk, hamtaahk, hamtaahk.
It's not what I'll vote for, not sure what I will vote for, but I'm rather expecting Stöah to shed first glao, but we shall see.
I'm thinking that perhaps only those that got the most votes (as least liked) should arise from the stauhi to be subjected to more urwa and gorkeulhzenht in later rounds, but then "Ooh, Ooh Baby" is the obvious one to raitah, baby, raitah, so.... I just don't want to stretch this out too long. I'll make up the rules as we go along, or probably forget about it altogether, and perhaps others will have some ideas, just vote for the one you least like. Like to enable multiple voting, but....
So begins the Magma ^emgalai. Let there be glao! May the drest of glao sate the glao thirsty appetites of the saaht, unwurdah creatures of the soia bean curdled screams from the tofu monster.....
For the Kobaian challenged (I needed a little help from Oxford Presses 12th edition Kobaian/English dictionary):Krematohm is crematory, hamtahhk is hate, glao is blood, stauhi is ashes, urwa is violence, gorkeulhzenht is convulsions, raitah is burn, ^emgalai is acocalypse, drest is flow, saaht is painful, wurdah is dead, soia is night, and tofu is a form of martial arts practised on Kobaia where the Tofu masters kick an exploding football at the heretics who do not worship at the biggest toe of the arousing Zanka Zess.

Hmm...now this is difficult. I'll admit most of this album bleeds together for me.
Malaria for now.

Hmm...not sure which one I'd cremate, but my favorite is definitely Kobaia as well. No vote at the moment. I'll have to think about it some.

Should I vote for the one I like least? If so, I can't really recall how Aurae or Muh go, so probably one of them. I think Malaria or Kobaia are my favorites.

Uh, what? Vote for least liked track? I don't have any. Is Stöah considered not amazing?

No, I mean which one would you most likely burn on a CDr. Seriously, yes, vote for your least liked if you have one. It's a Survivor spin-off, only this time I might focus it more on the cremated remains than on the survivors.
As for "Stöah", I love the track myself, love the whole album so I don't know if I'll vote. My prediction that some might vote for it is because some of the more melodic rock or metal/ AOR oriented listeners (not that many of them would know this début well enough and maybe none of them will vote) might find certain vocalisations a little too unpleasant and/or silly. Was it James Labrie who once said that that is one Magma he doesn't plan to sing a cover of any-time soon? Nah? Didn't think so. Hogarth from Marillion? No, never mind.
This possible series is not meant to be taken that seriously, though, as I think my opening post exhibits. I think it's cool, or should that be hot?, though, to start off with such a strong album, but I don't really want to get into one of those protracted Survivor series. I'd rather like to see all be cremated, but not in a disco sucks burn those albums kind of way, but more in a profound funeral pyre sort of way. And I forgot that this would be a Magma/ Offering series, so one can look at this flaming Magma pseudo contest as a burnt Offering to the entourage of Zeuhl (celestial) or heavenly hosts. A blaze of glory shining clear to Kobaia if you will, and even burning the pants off of Maynard Keenan's Tool with its luminosity. Or something absurd like that.

Me too. I love the songs in isolation, but the album runs a bit dull when listened to holistically.

The force is strong with Darth Vander; not to be underestimated.
I hope the listening is appreciatively pleasurable.

Somebody voted for "Auraë", that is one particular highlight of the album for me. Okay, last 14 or more or less hours, or days depending on my lifestyle, to vote.
All that have a vote at that time in some uncertain future will be ceremoniously cremated (eliminated), unless I decide otherwise since my number one rule is that my rules are meant to be broken by me and hard for others to fathom, which should make for a satisfyingly short, or perhaps very long if I change the rules or just plain procrastinate, series (I don't wish to flood the forum with these polls since there are so many similar ones in progress and I wouldn't want Magma to extinguish all interest in the others since that would be unfair). However, those that get the most votes for cremation will get the chance to rise up from the ashes at some later date if I continue with this or someone else does, and perhaps the formerly extinct tracks will get to face off against The Artist Formerly Known as Magma (i.e.. Exmagma) for an epic finale, but I doubt it.
I may decide to declare the ultimate "iss hundin" victor and loser "wurdah Ooh, ooh Baby!" before doing many polls.
Magma hamtai.... Wurdah EmoCrunkcore.

For the sake of Stoah defence I voted Malaria, which I love (but it's marginally not as incredible as the other ones with votes, maybe)

There is not one track on this one I don't love at least parts of.

Yeah, Stöah is my favourite too. The "screaming" parts of it is the highlight of the album for me.
I'm not voting.

Well, methinks the best way to get on with this is to play arsonist and symbolically incinerate all that received at least one vote. Jon Bon Jovi gets the honours as our ceremonial host and holds his mighty torch aloft ready to light up the skies (this act now being enshrined in Kobaia's mythology) ... "Kobaia" is fired-up and engulfed in flames, and as that world burns, Malaria is cured through flame. Sckxyss is smoking, Aurea is cooking, and Stoah is roasting. The other pieces escape from the world of Kobaia to the planet Gong slightly scathed where they have some good times with the Pot Head Pixies, who later smoke them, but that's another story.
There will be resurrection rounds if I continue this, so no need for any remorse.... And the flames are symbolic, so no Kobaians were harmed in the making of this poll.
EDIT: I should have mentioned the final score (however subsequent votes may well count in some towards the finals):
Which track would you most readily cremate?

Unlike the Survivor polls, in this I know move straight to the next studio album (though I would cover the Retrospetiw's for this poll too). And the remaining and resurrected would not be addressed until much later. I would rather do this in way that it doesn't spam the forum with polls or be really protracted, so well see.
