Among the projects of Duncan Patterson after leaving Antimatter, ION on my opinion deserves a place within the ProgFolk's section.

Here are some sample of his excellent 2006's album Immaculada.

I admit, I'm not an expert on prog folk, but it sounds decently folky enough to at least get a listen from the folk boys. I'll let them know. If folk doesn't work, crossover could take a look.

Immaculada is a mystic, beautiful and well crafted album.
I support the inclusion.

By the way on my opinion Ion deserves the same attention of the other Duncan Patterson's project, alternative 4, that is already listed on Progarchives

This suggestion is now in the hands of the Crossover team. I assume the artist was moved there from Prog Folk: http://progfreak.com/Ion-52960.html?path=pa/recent" rel="nofollow - http://progfreak.com/Ion-52960.html?path=pa/recent . Smile

I asked Crossover to have a listen.  We didn't approve or reject him for Prog Folk, but the initial impression was that Crossover might be a better fit.

Guys - does anyone know where we can actually hear the album? Having problems finding more than the odd sample and that isn't really enough.

Thanks
