What? Lizzy is a queen now? Just 8 hours of sleeping and I learn that I missed a crowning ceremony? Wow, hours rotate quickly here.

And now I'm watching Dr Who on Netflix.

Self-control, I has none.

I've only seen the Dr. Who episode with the evil angel statues. Seemed cool, I'll probably check out the series some day.

The two episodes I've watched so far (also from the recent series) were much better than what I've seen from the evil angels. They were playing really fast and loose with the rules during those segments, they should have been killed as soon as they went in the house.

Nope, no HBO. Anyway, I refuse to even consider starting with Game of Thrones until he finishes the series.

That's how I initially felt about the Harry Potter films, but then I realized that I would have had to wait nearly a decade.

I read the Wheel of Time so it is silly to suspect that I havent waited for the book to come to a closeure, spessially when the main auther dies, and is left to another guy (who ends up being better to the series then Robert Jordan)

I actually never really read books that are story-based. I've always been more attracted to non-fiction books about history, science, and business.

I even only read the first 2.5 Harry Potter novels.

The Harry Potter movies are completely different. You know they are going to end, I'm not reading Game of Thrones because I don't want to end on a question mark because George RR Martin dies of a heart attack in 2 years.

That makes sense, definitely, but I'm just too impatient. Besides, I didn't even know Game of Thrones was based on a novel series until I was half-way finished with the television adaptation.

I hate most books in general, especially high fantasy or hard science fiction (usually). I like my literature to be short, sharp, to the point, and without all that flowery prose bullsh*t. I read Shelley's Frankenstein the other day and it bored me to tears. But I loved the hell out of The Road, Of Mice and Men, Night, Animal Farm, Anthem, and the Pearl. Shorter, more direct and more apparently personal books. If I do have to have sci fi, I prefer it to be in the mindf**k category, mainly led on by Philip K Dick. Yeah, 1984's my favorite book, that isn't going to change anytime soon.

Man, I love Frankenstein so much. I like a lot of the classic horror novels and poems, so I guess I lied - I do like some fiction novels.

The novel I had to read for my business technology class, "The Goal: A Process of Ongoing Improvement", is actually pretty good. It makes me want to make money.
