Re: Winwood. I’m pretty sure that was my initial reaction when I first heard it. I guess I’ve grown to like Winwood’s long-windwoodedness (hey i coined a phrase!). Same with Traffic, who used to bore me.

Oh, that's cool!

I used to have Traffic's "On The Road" but sold it, it had way too much windwoodedness. I like "John Barleycorn" a lot though.

Of course you know them! I didn't listen to anything else from them. I'll take a look.

They're getting a bit too heavy for my tastes but there are still many glimpses of their old selves.

Is it true what they say about the new Pendragon? Is it that good?

What do you think of the new BK? It knocked me sideways, I couldn't get them out of my mind for a few months last year Embarrassed

Since Sunday:
Hartmut Zinn - Heiles Land (A damn good German Mike Oldfield clone in case you can't get enough of his classic style ;) )
Porcupine Tree - Up the Downstair
The Buggles - The Age of Plastic
Weyes Blood - Titanic Rising (I was melting with tose vocal harmonies.)
Steve Hackett - Please Don't Touch
Ben Levin - FAKE (Two months after a Chamber Pop EP, he releases a damn quirky Hip Hop EP. You never know what to expect from him.)
Maserati - Enter the Mirror (Even better at second listen, since I already knew it's a slowburner.)

...and this amazing improv trip from Kikagaku Moyo with Jacco Gardner and Bruno Pernadas in Lisbon Approve

New Order | Movement - first thingamajob after Ian cashed in

Magma | Zuhn Wohl Unsai - Live 1974 - great Bremen recording. Ah yes.

Tangerine Dream | Melrose - lovely 90s sound for 90s people. New age for yuppies yayyy. But very soothing.

Soft Machine | Switzerland 1974 - the Bundles album live just before release. Historical Cuneiform win.

Otoboke Beaver | Itekoma Hits
Otoboke Beaver | Bakuro Book - hey! This band seems to be the midpoint between J-pop and Melt-Banana. A very fertile ground. Very very intriguing indeed.

Esmectatons | Zoster - typically awesome avant-rock/prog for any occasion. I keep em in my playlist any time there’s a lull.
There’s an Esmectatons album, so they say, for every occasion.

Some amazing lists these past 2 pages. Looking good fellas and welcome back Sagi!!! Great to see your words once again.
Sam. I heard that new HAKEN single and it sounds awesome. Heavy!
Dave. Nice to see you touched upon Curtis Mayfield’s Superfly. :) Come on’ how cool is that album. Blacksploitation magic. ;)

Last few days I’ve been enjoying my bluray and dvd audio collection.

DIO— Finding the sacred Heart (live in Philly 1986)

Black Sabbath— 13

Supertramp— Crime of the century

Tears for fears— Songs from the big chair (2014 Steven wilson Mix)

Metallica— Quebec Magnetic (2008) ( just throw away the death magnetic cd and buy this bluray! Trust me. This is one of the very best concert releases metallica has ever done, recording and all)

Halford— live at Rockplast (2000) Really cool “stage stereo mix” option.

Dream Theater— Distance over time. ( man. I gotta say the blu ray audio on this is phenomenal. I spun it twice in a row and I think At Wits end is my favourite track right now. Terrific album.

Rammstein— Live In Paris. ( not even Covid can kill Till. ;)

Evanescence— Synthesis ( Amy Lee has it all. Her voice could melt metal. :)

Yeah I’m doing quite alright my friend thanks for asking
Denmark is currently experiencing some genuinely nice weather and with the forced vacation most of ud are on...well it is literally times like these when music proves to be a necessity for the soul.
I am a huge Elephant9 fan, as you probably know, but during the last couple of years I’ve been drawn to the many live clips that exist of the band over jootoob..half annoyed by the fact that I had to use jootoob every time I felt the urge and well half thrilled to learn that these guys indeed are a force to be reckoned with in a live setting. Oh mama!
I am also spinning the last couple of their releases these days with especially Atlantis having opened up to me a wonderful way. The track Psychedelic Backfire in particular resonates deeply with my Krautrock cravings. Always reminds me of ELP on some strange peyote trip
Yesterday:
The Temptations - 1990
Klaus Johann Grobe - I’m Zinne Der Zeit
Sun Ra - Lanquidity
Kate Bush - The Sensual World
Soft Machine - Volume Two
Necromonkey - Show Me Where It Hertz
Rahmann - s/t
Nya Ljudbolaget - s/t
Pond - Hobo Rocket
Arthur Russell - World Of Echo (Possibly the strangest chillax album I own. Syd Barrett’s second coming)
“The Guide says there is an art to flying or rather a knack. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.”

Good to see you round these parts and also brilliant to know that you’re still spinning the pork.
I must revisit that Diagonal again as I really dug it whilst preparing for the AOTY thing.
Yo David you magnificent dane! hope you're well and alive, I see you have time to spend on music so that's already good news. I see you've mentioned Elephant9 Psychedelic Backfire II, I just got it recently and listened to it the second time today, can't wait for tomorrow to play it again, that last track sounds particularly tasty!

De Lorians - Beyond
Circle - Pharaoh Overlord
Aquaserge - Laisse ça être
Aquaserge - Guerre
SBB - Hofors 1975
Schicke Fuhrs And Frohling - Live 1975
