Yes. The album's lyrics were much influenced by drummer Brann Dailor's little sister who committed suicide when they both were teenagers. Her name was Skye.

OK my reviews back then were made in a hurry to fill up space on empty pages when the site was brand new and empty, which is why they often appear on top of the page

True I am working when I can on fixing these early "reviews".... but you'd better not hurry me up, or I'll really get on their case and demolish such poor albums. (I'm thinking of TFK and IQ as well)Tongue

And ypu might have to wait until I want to re-listen to the album, which might not be tomorrow, either
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Personally, I think he was being a bit ironic,,,

Honestly, folks, it seems like the reporting is going a bit... erm... out of hand. If we're removing things that aren't well written, I think my own back catalogue would have been slashed and burned a long time ago.

I agree, the spirit of this, the spirit of this thread (as i think is) is to report reviews that are wrong, but not to make an revise of past reviews and check every SC or PR to report whatever have in mind.

it's not to report  for the sake of report.

Skeletons in a closet I presume.
There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

The other way around it is to write your own reviews to counter negative ones but being honest and fair. The site was different way back then and hey IMO those reviews should stick unless changed by the author himselfSmile

That will be very hard and take a  lot of time. The guy has more negative reviews that I have reviews myself. Confused
