I love that Kiss album btw. Those two live albums are the bee’s knees. Their studio work though I can take or leave.
That may be one of the first times I’ve ever intentionally listened to Kiss. But I have that record and was in the mood. No matter how you feel about Kiss, that’s one fine hard rock record.

Nice call on Seventeen Seconds btw. I had some early Cure in my recent listening too (the ‘84 live album).

Today:

Fastball | The Harsh Light of Day
Thin Lizzy | Night Life
The Olivia Tremor Control | Black Foliage: Animation Music
The Flaming Lips | s/t EP
The Flaming Lips | Hear it Is
The Damned | Damned but not Forgotten
The Brian Jonestown Massacre | My Bloody Underground
Red House Painters | Ocean Beach
Rope | Heresy, and then Nothing but Tears

To be honest I was a bit underwhelmed by The Winstons album, compared to the debut :/

This weekend:
Banco - Io Sono Nato Libero
Bent Knee - You Know What They Mean
Sensible Soccers - 8 (I forgot I bought this album and didn't listen to it. It's getting ridiculous XD)
Black Mountain - IV (I could give Destroyer another chance but it's so boring compared to this one.)

Hey Samuel
Well you are quite welcome my friend
I have a thing for electronics y’know!

Gotta listen to some Black Mountain tonight, thanks for the inspiration.

IV is the last Black Mountain I have - so the new one isn’t that hot? They seemed to have a nice run going for a while there. Ah well.
Cool, I'm glad you dug it! :)

Reading other opinions, I seem to be the minority. It's more based on heavy riffing with an 80s vibe, but I much prefer 70s spaciness, not to mention that Amber left the band and I really like her vocals.
hmm okay, I’ll go with it. Too bad about Amber but I can live without her vox. And I’m a sucker for riffs.

My last day or 2:

Golden Earring | Cut
The Red Crayola | Parable of Arable Land
The Red Krayola | Blues Hollers & Hellos
Hatfield & the North | s/t
Amen Dunes | Love
Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti | Before Today: Rarities (fan-made comp)
Camper Van Beethoven | s/t (3rd Album)
Fugazi | Steady Diet of Nothing
Klaus Schulze | Dune
Franco Battiato | Clic
Dadamah | This is not a Dream
Naked Raygun | Understand?

This week so far:
Grobschnitt - Solar Music Live (It sounds so damn good especially considering that it's a live recording from the 70's.)
Pendragon - The World
Petrus Castrus - Mestre (I heard a radio interview with Pedro Castro the other day and it led me to give it a fresh spin. I was able to hear the ELP influences he mentioned.)
Motis - L'Homme-Loup (Very strong album although I always feel it drags a bit near the end. Got to dig that Folk Reggae tune about Vikings though :D)
PFM - Jet Lag

^I am leery of boxsets also, either I have some or most of the albums or its the cost.  Early Floyd stuff does sound very intriguing.  Same with me on the KC live stuff, I mostly have 1 or 2 from the prime years and I have 2 from the year I saw them in 2017 (Chicago and Meltdown in Mexico with a DVD which is awesome).

Been and going to weed through some stuff (CDs) I have picked up recently at record shows, flea markets, and thrift stores.  Basically going to re-listen since I finally broke down and got myself a budget, hybrid tube headphone (and speaker if you wanted) amp, a Fosi T20 which I will revisit in Dollyland :), but having fun with it and order some better tubes for it which should arrive tomorrow.

Anyway, latest listens and re-listens:
Dire Straits - s/t
JJ Cale - Travel-Log (really enjoy this one, great songwriter)
Spooky Tooth - You Broke my Heart So...I Busted Your Jaw (just love that title)
Miles Davis - Bitches Brew - Live
Jon Anderson - Change We Must
Miles Davis - Nefertiti
Gong - You
Gentle Giant - Three Friends
Jeff Beck - Who Else (Space for Papa just gets in my skin)
Alison Krause and Union Station - New Favorite (most haunting beautiful voice I think I have ever heard, its Blue Grass but enjoyable)
Steppenwolf - At Your Birthday Party
Brian May - Back to the Light
Boz Scaggs - Silk Degrees
Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble - The Sky is Crying
Dan Folgelberg - The Wild Places
Peter Frampton - Classics volume 12 (50 cents well spent Big smile)

Hi Jim
Nice to see you around buddy
Also really cool to see my favourite Steppenwolf album listed That thing is just awesome and for me personally, it contains the ONLY passable birthday song ever recorded...and I love it to death.

Regarding the Floyd boxsets: if you’re an early Floyd fan then I’d get some of the individual sets. The 69 one first
I’ll hit you back over in the Dolly den but suffice to say, your new Fosi looks really damn interesting.
