RiP to an heroic bass player, I have always loved the bass playing, subtle yet solid, there is just that way to tame the octupus in the bathtub.

RIP to Cliff Simon who died on March 9 at the age of 58 from a kiteboarding accident. He is probably best know for playing the Goa'uld system lord Ba'al on Stargate SG-1.

RIP for sure....hopefully he was able to listen to one last cassette mix..........My wife's cousin was a massive Phish fan traveled all over to see the band, named one of his dogs Fee. He had probably 1000 cassettes as well DAT cassettes of shows he would record. There were a couple venues in Seattle he was banned from.

Well very far from the prog world, even from rock, but Covid has taken Raoul Casadei, aged 83.
He was the most important musician in his genre, something that I honestly can't stand with: tango, mazurka, nothing else than popular music for dance rooms, but he and his band were highly skilled as players and his name is known by everybody in Italy.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

R.I.P. Bhaskar Menon.
EMI Music International and Capitol Records boss. We could look through our collections and we could find stuff he was instrumental in signing or managing.
