You definitely have to listen to "The Fall of the House of Usher". It
is a rather strange album, but then it is a strange, dark, and gothic
story, and so is the album.

You mean Everyone You Hold - it's one of the best of his later albums, imho.

Chameleon in the shadow of the night is really sexy.

I really like Silent Corner and The Empty Stage. I believe it's the most symphonic Peter solo albums and a sort of VDGG lost album.

As prog album I prefere by far "Nadir's big chance" than the mediocre "In camera"...but my favorite Hammill album remains "Fools mate". This one is very intense emotionnaly and more poppy than the others. It's the first one I purchased and it's still my fav.

It is ineresting to know what album by great Peter Hammill is favourite among visitors of the forum. I can't choose only one. For me:
Chameleon - best in melodies but lacks in production. In some ways it's even good
In camere - best prog album of all time
Over - best in emotions. Did you hear anyting like this one?
