mitos - Progressive Rock Music Forum

hi there,

i have progressive rock band, but not like 80's or 90's style, we would like to do as much as golden years of progressive rock 70's

last year i went to Germany for meeting legendary progressive rock band Eloy's founder frank bornemann, then i went to one of huge festival in west side of germany, and i saw really great old german bands there such as, grobschnnit,jane, birth control,guru guru...etc

when i came back to home (which is İstanbul/Turkey) i decided to setup band...our name is "mitos" (mythos) we are trying to do like pink floyd, eloy, yes, king crimson...etc style

its not easy but we are trying to do our best, you know we are living very colourful country, very interesting music culture and we put some orientic jam moods...we did couple of gigs in Istanbul and responses were really hopeful (most of these people are not prog.rock fans; prog.rock fans loved it)

we put one of songs (which is tells story about journey of shaman to immortality) on youtube, but you know prog.rock songs are usually long but we dont want to share full song so, we put like 5 min. montage...its enough to get basic sound of mitos
