I love these ones:

Gazpacho

Cover My Eyes

Don't Hurt Yourself

Drilling Holes

A Collection

Tumble Down The Years

My vote goes to Man of a Thousand Faces

Ocean Cloud, closely followed by Interior Lulu (totally underrated) and Neverland.

I voted for Neverland but would also include This Strange Engine as my
favourite.
Neverland got the vote as it was a return to the sort of music that Marillion
are so capable but the previous 3 or 4 albums could not find. Hope the
next album continues the trend.

"Season's end" for me, the closing section in particular makes the song. Close second for "Afraid of sunlight".

Man Of A Thousand Faces, just for the end section where all the vocals build up to that incredible climax. Wow!!

Easter. Lovely song. Great vocal presentation of mr. Hogarth.

I'm very much a Fish-era fan, but I like some later stuff as well. Brave (the album) is good, and I like Hollow Men and Alone Again In the Lap Of Luxury on that one.

I'd like to see what people see as the best Hogarth-era Marillion album. Brave, probably (?). There's probably a thread around. If not, maybe I (or you, reader?) will start one myself one of these days (...I'm going to cut you into little pieces - sorry 'bout that  , Pavlovian Pinkfloydian reaction, I'm not a violent person at all )

But for now: Easter. I once saw a great live version on Dutch tv of that song, with just Hogarth and Rothery (on acoustic guitar), both sitting on bar stools. That was very powerful! Hogarth is no Fish, but he definitely has a great voice and a great stage presence.

Sorry I did.  With yer there.  I also forgot Splintering Heart which is pretty smart.  Oh well these would come under 'others' I suppose.

Ocean Cloud, all the way. I'm not even a Marillion fan and that's still among my favorite post-70s prog tracks.

In my opinion "This Strange Engine" is a masterpiece... Complete in his 15 perfect minutes, with good variations and a great sentimental climax, with a sensible guitar solo. And the emotional voice of Hogarth, very very very superior to his predecessor, creates the perfect climate to the music.
