That's probably because BSS is one of the greatest prog albums ever and should not be on this list!
|
But it does start with a 'B'.........btw I would choose Benefit or Birds of Fire over BSS any day of the week.....BSS as well as the other ELP albums always end up having some 'cheesy stuff' on them. |
I do get it - fortunately the 'cheesy stuff' doesn't last too long...

Still can't vote but it would definitely be Birds of Fire, followed by Barrett and Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso.
Art Zoyd's Berlin should be an option as well.

Howe's Beginnings was his most seminal album right out of the gate while his band was on hiatus after Tales'. It all could have ended up as Yes music, for the most part. Second only to Squire's Fish' among the spate of Yes solo projects of '75/'76. Followed by 'Tull's Benefit (an evergreen of a piece from 1970), ELP's 'Surgery, and FM's Black Noise.

In no particular order, though I'm unclear how Brain Salad Surgery and Benefit are designated B albums.
ELP - Brain Salad Surgey Eno - Before and After Science Hackett - Bay of Kings Mahavishnu Orchestra - Birds of Fire Jethro Tull - Benefit Jade Warrior - Released
