Don't expect getting "Third" there.

The Awake sample is "Lie" isn't it? It's the heaviest song of the album. Probably you'll dig the rest like the suite "A man beside itself"

Yeah I know, I go every 2 weeks more or less. But you're talking about Unicenter's Musimundo, right?

Anyways thanks, I'll probably get Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence and I&W.

Oh Abraxas, my uncle bought me Book of Taliesyn there, but not sure where it is, if it's in Capital I really can't go.
Thanks again. Though not in a mood of Soft Machine, sorry, unless you're telling me there's Bundles 3 (Softs is Bundles 2)

Yeah abraxas is in Capital. And all the musimundos have more or less the same stuff.

That review was very good. You can tell that Octavarium is an uninspired record just by reading it.
The thing is , if you hear DT albums in it's proper order you can see how they run out of ideas by their fifth release. From 2000  up to the present DT is more of the same , a little bit heavier but less progressive.

Thanks, and yeah, that happens to many bands. I'll check then Musimundo from Unicenter for Images & Words and surely Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence.

^man I don't like metal, please read my first post. I don't want to listen to Systematic Chaos nor Train of Thought since I heard they use a lot of thrash elements plus some nasty vocals...

^  maybe you shouldn't listen to Dream Theater then ... that element is present on all their albums, it's part of their identity.

As is their quieter side. Don't shun the albums you mentioned, they have all sorts of styles on them.

...but am I the only one here who would rather listen to nothing than Images & Words? Question

I'm afraid Mike you're wrong. Did you read the thread first 2 pages, or at least my comments on the album?

I already have Octavarium, Images & Words and Falling into Infinity. I LOVE Images & Words and Falling into Infinity, while I enjoy Octavarium quite a bit, not tracks like Panic Attack and Never Enough which are seriously heavy for my taste, and I'm afraid that style is what carries Train of Thought and Systematic Chaos the most.

I may have exagerrated with the previous post, but I was telling Henry(I know it's not his real name) why not.

After all, I do love Deep Purple, Atomic Rooster, Rush, Black Sabbath, Budgie and all of the kindWink

A Change Of Seasons is the only DT I can stand and only about once a year at that.  The rest is like fingernails on a chalk board.

Any of those albums or any other Dream Theater is fine.  They are an incredible and in my opinion the best band out there!  Don't wait to buy a certain album; just buy them all and listen to them.  Trust me.  You will enjoy.

I have to admit... I have enjoyed... or at least been able to make it half way through ..their last couple of albums. Maybe I am just mellowing out... or they are getting better.  hmmm..
