"Lazarus" by Porcupine Tree works well.
Also, damn near anything by The Decemberists.

Really hope Micky doesn't read this post .... Anyway, we generally keep music and sex separated - they are two pleasures to be enjoyed at different times !

Hmmm, wonder what it would be like to have sex (as with someone else that is) with some extreme prog metal as sound collage...? ;-)

When we were first sleeping together and sleeping together (the wife and I), one morning Harold Budd's Luxa came on on the boombox, which was on autotimer. The first set of tracks is a group called Butterflies With Tits.

I'm 15 (and a virgin on the prowl... Not really though as that would be illegal )
Marillion - Kayleigh (It's probably normal for someone my age to suggest 50CENT or something)
YES - Roundabout
Genesis - Firth Of Fifth
Marillion - Grendel (I have this image of the supposed "Supper's Ready" rip off beat playing... think about it)
That's about it...
Perhaps...
Marillion - Easter (For reals, that would be mega cool)
Marillion - Hooks In You (A good 2:58 of laughs)

anything long with lots of tempo changes and irregular rhythms. That should make it interesting.
If not a playlist of TMV acoustic/ballads.

Massive Attack. Really it's clearly the best for the romantic side of things. For everything else, there's viking metal.

For some reason I was laughing to myself about the thought of making love to child in time.I couldn't think of something more over the top.
Also I like the idea about Viking metal except....perhaps the women that would attract.

Haha that'd be well primal! I'd be down, but the hard part would be finding a ready and willing partner for that...maybe someday!

Anything by Massive Attack works especially well, Sigur Ros, particularly the Takk album Godspeed you! Black Emperor listening to CAN while fooling around is actually kind of fun. until damo starts shreiking. . . . (one more night, anything off Future days) Explosions in the sky
. . . so basically post rock.

Agreed. If it ain't happening to 'Grace Cathedral Hill' then it just ain't happening! I'm too lazy to read the whole thread, but did anyone mention Camel's 'Moonmadness' yet? Also anything with cello except GYBE or A Silver Mt Zion.
