When you (accidentally) drive up the sidewalk after hearing your sister say, "Taylor Swift's lyrics really mean something, unlike that weird stuff you listen to!"

Honestly, I wasn't trying to kill her... I just blacked out for a minute and suddenly I was staring at a small tree in front of the passenger side...

When you wake up because you swear you could hear a choir of disembodied female Magma voices singing a menacing tune.
Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal.

You do not automatically consider these words and phrases to be a criticism:
- Pretentious
- Bombastic
- Over-ambitious
- Seven-part 50 minute suite
- Lengthy keyboard solo
- Juvenile sword and sorcery lyrics
- Synthesiser flatulence

"And now...on the drums...Mick Underwooooooooood!!!"

"He's up the pub"

If you think the covers of albums by the likes of Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Shania Twain would work a lot better if they were holding swords.

When you remember anniverseries/birthdays etc by the records that were released on them.

eg, September 11th = Yes' Magnification

Actually, being female, this would be the ultimate turn-on!

When you can't stand those little "Best Buy!" or whatever stickers they put on the covers of CDs in the shop and upon getting home, immediately and painstakingly remove them.

Your suggestions?
.. when you drive past the office or home and make that u-turn a few intersections away,in order to allow that 20 minute epic to finish properly.
LOL I've done that numerous times.

I don't make detours but arrive at my destination and then refuse to get out of the car until whatever I happen to be listening to has finished... however long that takes.
Also, if I'm walking down the street and pass by a bar that's playing anything that sounds like prog I stay rooted to the spot until it's finished

Well that's a pretty crappy reason why not to get Snow, Brian. It's basically one 2 disc songWink
