Ugh... Never start off a day with Sigur Ros... It kind of is like a bad omen... LOL

LOL I have never done that.
I have done it twice, and both times the days were just depressing... Almost like the music LOL

Sigur Ros isn't depressing........compared to GY!BE.

Not all of it's mellow. Take Hoppípolla and Gobbledigook for instance, they're both quite upbeat and uplifting.
And Jónsi's new album is the most joyful thing ever. Tongue

They have some much less happy songs too.

Yeah, it was "boys night" with an old buddy.  It's amazing how different the 43 year old body deals with this verses the 23 year old body.  I miss that body.

If you're young right now, enjoy your body's general energy level.  I mean, consciously enjoy it, don't take it for granted.  Get out there and use it.  It doesn't lastLOL

I have 2 months left of having a young body, and then I turn old.  I've recently seen advertisements for the new Adam Sandler movie Grown Ups.  That looks pretty interesting.

You had better watch out though because you are going to age at a rapid pace if you continue to listen to old fart music.

I am balancing it out with Animal Collective. And I I am trying to get this song out of my head. It's really annoying to keep having I JUST WANT FOUR WALLS AND ADOBE SLATS FOR MAH GIRLS going through your head all day.

I definitely wasn't around for SR1.  I didn't post for about a year after I joined.
I, on the other hand, am Shred Room #1, post #1. Big smile

Which is not nearly as epic as being Velvet Room #1 poster #1.

It's funny how different the Shred is from his original intentions.

Yep.  It was supposed to be a 3rd room that filled the gap between the Suede Room for avant youngsters and the Shed for British oldsters.  Not enough of us in the middle participated in the Shred room, and eventually the Shred and the Suede merged and basically became the Suede with the Shred name.

Shred Room 1 Post number 1

I've joked about doing this, so I figure what the heck, let's give it a go.  I have created The Shred Room as a forum oasis for us thirty-somethings or thereabouts to kick back take our shoes off and talk about whatever it is we feel like talking about.  The thought is that this room will fill the void for those of us that are too old to hang out in the Suede Room, but not old enough to hang out in the Shed.

It's not like I don't talk endlessly about anything elsewhere anyways but I thought that it might be fun to have a room set up specifically for such a thing.   Anyhow, if your Clearasil using days are in the past, and your Just For Men hair coloring days are still in the future please stop in and chat.  We need help with the decor and deciding what album covers to hang up on the wall.
