Apparently, there was a Mariah Carey appreciation thread that eventually became the Velvet Room. I wasn't around then. That would be James and Blowie and The Miracle, etc...

Ahh the history! Anyway, I'm thankful for this thread. It's nice to have a laid back chat where people can come and go.

If it weren't for this thread I'd have about 8000 less posts.

100 posts and you're officially a senior member? Seems effortless.

Senior member sounds great, until you find out that there are people who have 100 times more posts than you and are called senior members too.

I go through phases. I don't find much interest in many of the other threads just because they consists of many ideas, thoughts, and insults that have been visited many times before. I don't add my 2 cents to Phil Collins, Dream Theater, and Rush discussions/debates as often as I used to.

I am loving the new Scorpions' album. Very delicious to the ears. This is apparently their last album and last tour. We'll see how true they stick to that. Anyhow, the Scorps were one of the five bands that I saw live at my first concert, which was the Monsters of Rock tour of 1988. I've not seen them since, but I am thinking that if this is their last tour I might want to try and catch it.
