What Gandalff Poll is not subjective and useless? |

Don't know them all, however, James La Brie can be very annoying at times... still, he can sing very well at other times (and at times, he can sing very well and still be annoying). Besides him, I have never actually liked Peter Gabriel's voice very much either (I would say I like early Genesis despite Gabriel's voice... as a matter of fact, I like Phil Collins singing much better). Not on the list but one I don't really like much either is John Wetton (though I must say after King Crimson he's gotten better, at least his voice is not one of the things I may dislike about Asia - as far as it's studio; and his singing on Steve Hackett's Tokio Tapes is really rather good). I'm glad Jon Anderson isn't winning this poll, I thought he would have had more haters... as for me I really love his singing. I've never really understood why so much hate towards Waters singing, I find it rather good, and at times he pours such emmotion into his singing. And I've heard some Rush recently too, and Geddy Lee's voice is not annoying at all for me.

We all just love to have others hear our opinions, everyone secretly wishing someone will either agree with them or call them retarded and start an argument. welcome to the internet, there's really no point in any poll

I'm so mad that you enjoy a certain combination of noises that I don't

Unequivocally Peter Hammill. I am shocked he is not a choice in this poll. I could listen to Geddy Lee for a several day marathon (which would be considered "cruel and unusual torture" under the Geneva Conventions), but I have yet to listen to a VdGG album in its entirety during one sitting. It's that wretched caterwauling that makes brilliant compositions unlistenable.

Voted Other :
Ian Anderson (after his accident).
Before, his voice was strange but attracting.

I saw it. But I will never vote for Anderson as having an annoying voice. Considering his career, I like his voice. Do you think this is unfair ?

Not surprised a bit to see Geddy Lee and James LaBrie leading the pack. Very surprised to see all the disapproval of Roger Waters' vocals, and the fact that Fish only has 5 votes!? ... And that 5th vote was mine?!?!??

I love Greg Lake, one of my favourites
It's Jon Anderson and Geddy Lee I don't fancy :)
I also love Rod Evans. can anyone say they like Greg Lake's voice and not Rod Evan's? and vice versa?

Sorry but I really disagree with the concept of this poll altogether...not a personal attack just really fail to see the merit and basically find it rather negative, inconclusive...
that's my penniesworth......shields up for the volley....incoming!!!!
