Next up is Galaxy-Lin, a little-known and short-lived Crossover Prog band with a Shocking Blue connection - both bands were founded by multi-talented guitarist and singer/songwriter Robbie van Leeuwen, so it's a band founded on good solid credentials with the added bonus of a simply sensational saxophonist. Thumbs Up

I loved hearing Noel on the radio too, but sadly, he's probably best-remembered now for Deal or No Deal,  Noel's Crinkly Bottom and the godawful Mr. Blobby. Confused

Your mention of Noel Edmonds has just reminded me of this Deal or No Deal clip from Dead Ringers. Smile

Fluff was  a tremendously good sport too, especially here, when he sends himself up in a guest appearance with Radio Fab FM DJ's, Smashie & Nicey. Smile

Smashie & Nicey also made a spoof Alan Freeman ad for Deptford Draylons. Tongue

Anyone who doesn't like ELP is probably not a fan of Prog Rock in general. I'd sooner listen to Alan "Fluff" Freeman's Rock Show or Pick of the Pops anytime. Alright? Not half! Smile

It doesn't get much better than those four albums. In fact Moving Waves would probably be in my top 10 prog albums of all time. [Even if John Peel described their music as rat's p!ss.]
John Peel's eclectic tastes in music are a long way from mine, considering three of his favourite bands are The Fall, The Ramones & The Undertones, none of which I'm a fan of. Confused

A jazzy Focus album which sounds strangely like a Canterbury Scene album. Just follow the signs for Hatfield & the North, which is just Beyond the Horizon. Smile
