On the first poll titled Five I picked five albums from years ending in five. '65, '85 & '95. Lets end this with the other three years ending in five, not counting this year because it's not half over yet. So '75, '05 & '15. A lot more albums to pick from for these years.
One vote, and maybe it's just one your into these days.

Steve Hillage. You will only be on the top of the food chain when your body can manufacture its own pie crust.

There are a bunch I like here, and some that did not do it for me like the Morse and Riverside (lots of variety) but I really am feeling very pachydermic right now. Here's the first vote, and it may be the only one, for Elephant9's Silver Mountain, which is an I think excellent modern album.

EDIT: I was just looking at what I currently have listed as my top album for every 60s and up year ending with five, including this year so far, and this is my list. Art Zoyd's Le mariage, which I voted for in the other poll is in second place for 1985, but I don't take the rankings terribly seriously...

1965: Los Relámpagos - Los Relámpagos
1975: Cortex - Troupeau Bleu
1985: Kate Bush - Hounds of Love
1995: Swans - The Great Annihilator
2005: Sufjan Stevens - Illinois
2015: Anna von Hausswolff - The Miraculous
2025: BRUIT ≤ - The Age of Ephemerality

Love the idea for a poll. Hope to see more like it, and you get more variety across varied tastes than I would if doing my favourites.

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.
