Radiohead-Kid A towers over everything else for me. Both of those I know - and those I don't know. I'm sorry, I just know:)

But I do think The All Is One are among Motorpsycho's best, and that the Zopp-album is cozy.

Kid A is great but I want to give some love to Pendragon and the wonderful song writing of Nick Barrett.

Fish, obviously. Runners-up: Zopp, UZ and Wobbler.

So you have a top three at least. Not into Clivages?

I feel this is a weaker poll despite being a huge fan of many of these. Nostalgia for me, especially the year 2000. I'm still surprised with the part II of these polls that the albums in the late 10's or 20's seem to get neglected.

I mistyped -- missed an "a" (often happens to me) which made it sound negative. I meant to say that there are a few here that I have liked very much, especially Radiohead's Kid A, Univers Zero's Clivages and Xing Sa's Creation de l'Univers, but also Frogg Cafe's Bateless Edge. I should play the Motorpsycho and have liked what I heard of that Porcupine Tree album (will give that proper spin at some time). No nostalgia-factor for me, I really got into Kid A considerable years later, and I did hear the Xing Sa and Univers Zero around the time of release but don't feel nostalgia for 2010. I think the last years I feel really nostalgic for are 1995/1996 (and various moments since), but most of the music I am into of that time I discovered a decade and more later. Most of my favourite music I listen to the most now are fairly recent discoveries or interests. It wasn't that long ago that I really got into Kid A. :)

I didn't really get into prog until around 2005. I had been a pretty big fan of blues based rock like Zeppelin, early Aerosmith, Cream and on and on but also Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Rush, Ac/Dc and so on. So yes it's interesting to say I have nostalgia for some 00's albums but that's why. It was such a discovery to find prog. And those early albums I bought from PT, Anekdoten and so on are nostalgic for me as much as the music from the bands I mentioned earlier.

I was exposed to and liked various Prog albums in the late 70s and 80s. I loved various Focus, Gryphon, Yes, Camel, Caravan, Fragile, Rush (Kate Bush and Laurie Anderson if I thought of them as Prog), was big Pink Floyd fan going back to my youth, and I love Genesis' The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway which I had heard at a playhouse's closing show party, and I knew and liked Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream, had heard some Henry Cow and Cardiacs etc. And I had loved the usual "classic rock" things like Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Santana, but it was not until the early to mid 2000s that I would say I was really deeply exploring prog and related music. By 2005 I was in the very deep end of exploration, and I listened to an insane (to me now) amount of new music. I had had an earlier PA account which I had hardly used, but I partially I wanted to come into PA afresh knowing a large amount of music. Weird aim, perhaps, but I wanted to be able to easily participate in most any forum discussion, and I wanted to discover as much music as I could... I like to be able to connect with people over music, and that remains my main aim at the forum and to hopefully give music I like more exposure (I feel like sharing with others is part of me being loyal to the music).

I have had a tendency to go whole-hog into hobbies (made the time for it), be it film at one time, and then music later, and... Well, maybe that's about it. University film studies killed my film passion to some extent. Big passions that I went in big for.

I'm glad you have that nostalgic feeling for the music. The nostalgic feeling I most have for music is stuff I enjoyed with other people like friends or with my eldest brother. Gary Numan's Replicas, various Kate Bush, Icehouse..., that stuff brings me back to a good/ interesting place. Bjork brings me back to my wonderful and life-changing time in Japan as she was quite popular there as is lots of quirky stuff. And the Japanese band Fishmans which is my numero uno band in PA currently brings me back to Japan of the 90s, although I did not know the music then -- I so want to do an appreciation thread but worry I'll be the only one posting, which is not much fun... Could always try reddit. Listened to a wonderful bootleg yesterday... I love to share and just hope that some other people will feel some of the same enthusiasm. :) Sorry post got overly long, but now I am feeling very sentimental.
Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

Clivages needs a revisit soon. I listen to UZ' first the most, the second the second most, their third the third most etc... and then I don't really listen to anything past Heatwave. I know I enjoyed quite a bit it when it was new.
