Something in the likes of Caravan, America, Richie Havens or Blood Sweat and Tears. I'm not looking for flute-heavy middle age reminiscent music, but rather smooth hippie jazzy stuff that'd make me feel as if I was in Woodstock.

Here are the bands I already have in my list that I think fit this category:Renaissance, Jordsjø, Happy End, Trader Horne, Harmonium, Viima.. And I'm already aware of most of the canterbury scene like Caravan, Gong, Robert Wyatt, Supersister, Hatfield And The North, National Health, Picchio Dal Pozzo, Cos, Kevin Ayers, Homunculus Res, Tom Penaguin, Matching Mole, etc.

I'm not necessarily looking in the Canterbury category but rather folk prog.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

This is not quite what I think you're looking for, but maybe try:

Gate Way's Evening Colours (1975)

I don't think this suits that well, but mentioning anyway Congreso - Para los arqueólogos del futuro :

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

I removed the second video thinking it did not fit the brief well enough and I had not put enough thought into it but included it again as you seem to have liked it (I had not read your longer lists of bands yet when thinking through suggestions -- that is all music I love, by the way). In folk prog a couple of my favourite acts are Spirogyra and Jan Dukes de Grey -- brilliant stuff.

I just posted the sheet music I made for this song for the opening section (closing one comes soon). It may be up your alley

Gotic from 1977 Spain is a beautiful jazzy/pastoral fusion album with plenty of flutes. This last track is amazing.

The opening and closing sections are great.

Acoustic guitar - CHECK
Beautiful flute - CHECK

with some acoustic piano (really beautiful)

Traffic...

John Barleycorn Must Die
Low Spark of High Heeled Boys.

They very definition of jazzy pastoral / folk prog.

...a vigorous circular motion hitherto unknown to the people of this area, but destined
to take the place of the mud shark in your mythology...

Right) I've just decided to think of it as "comfort prog". Well from the top of my head, I love these:

The video between Macoute and Vildkaktus says "Not Available". It could be a regional thing.

^ I get that all the time nowadays, but that one is fine in my region. How about this (there's no other option for Vildkaktus)
