I'm quoting this form another topic I made as it might help some people with some issues, especially since the disabling of the WYSIWYG editor. Note that the full reply editor (see if you see a 3/4 erect arrow) can work well anyway, and in this browser I have it in prompt Mode rather than Basic Mode.

So this comes from this topic: https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=132330

While I find the full reply editor works well, for years I have been manually tagging my posts.   Here's some of how you do it...

If it helps, here is some of the BB code. Remove spaces from tags to make it work, and by quoting this post you can see the code for where I used it:

[ b] Bolded sample text [ /b] to Bolded sample text
[ i] Italicised sample text [ /i] to Italicised sample text
[ u] Underlined text [ /u] to Underlined text

[color = red] Red text [ /color] to Red Text
[color = green] Green text [ /color] to Green text
[color= blue] Blue text [ /color] to Blue text
[color = orange] Orange text [/ color] to Orange Text

[size = 1] Small text [ /size] to Small text
[size = 3] Medium text [ /size] to Medium text

To combine various codes:

[ b] [ i] [ u] [color = red] [size = 1]This combines BB codes but is broken by spaces [ /b] [ /i] [ /u] [ / color] [ /size]
to
This combines BB codes and is unbroken

And for images, youtube embeds, hyperlinks and hypertext links.

[url= https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsOxgwF9LlM]the darning of the sock[ /url]
to
the darning of the sock

[ tube]RsOxgwF9LlM [ /tube]
to

Note: as some have issues with embedding youtube videos, you just use the unique ID identifier (letters/numbers combination) after v=

And here is how to add a Youtube playlist:

To do playlists:

Consider https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_lh9Y6a2tFBVzR1BYUarIVk-cx5_5fCqsg

Copy the following: playlist?list=OLAK5uy_lh9Y6a2tFBVzR1BYUarIVk-cx5_5fCqsg

Then add tube tags with no spaces (spaces used to break it, and won't always always show up depending on device/broswer/mode):

[tube ]playlist?list=OLAK5uy_lh9Y6a2tFBVzR1BYUarIVk-cx5_5fCqsg [/tube]

For Bandcamp, I will use Sufjan Stevens All Delighted EP as an example:

Take the whole url for the album and add tube tags around it with so spaces:

[tube ]https://sufjanstevens.bandcamp.com/album/all-delighted-people-ep [/ tube]

For an individual track to embed, click on the song at bandcamp such as Djohariah

[tube ] https://sufjanstevens.bandcamp.com/track/djohariah [/ tube]

To view you might need to accept Bandcamp cookies, then you can see it.

Note: by quoting posts using codes and embeds one can discern how it was done. EDIT: and also note that that technique for Bandcamp embedded videos also has worked for Dailymotion, Vimeo...

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

I'd never seen the Bitch School vid
Appallingly sadly un-funny

=======

Tried uploading a BC page, but I'll wait until the video function is again available in the tool bar above the window

OK, it's working by typing out the codes , but the function button would help.

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Bitch School is not much liked by me either, but I get the shtick. I really like the album on the whole, but then I also am one of those people who prefers to find and focus on the positive than the negative. Makes life and interaction so much more fun and pleasant for me. I love Rainy Day Sun.

You should not have any spaces in there unless you are trying to break the embed. You had a space after tube at the start and end... Not sure if that was intentional. I added spaces to show it. EDIT: I see you got it working.
