ORCHESTRAL MANOEUVRES IN THE DARK       An outstanding synth duo formed in Liverpool by Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys. "Messages" was their big breakthrough single in 1980 and the song OMD are still best remembered for, which was swiftly followed by the even greater success of "Enola Gay", which went down a bomb.
