It's been a whole year since the last Now That's What I Call Prog compilation and it's your chance again to put together a selection of the twenty most influential prog rock songs (with ideally one song per artist) for the musically outstanding year of 1972. Will ii be a million-seller, or is it destined to find itself in some dusty old cellar?

ELP's worst track off Trilogy is Abaddon's Bolero imo. I would go with the title track or Hoedown.
For Yes I would go for And You and I. Genesis - Suppers Ready (just why not??!) PFM - Il Banchetto Gentle Giant - The Advent of Panurge Aphrodite's Child - The Four Horsemen The Moody Blues - I'm just a Singer in a Rock n roll band ELO - From The Sun To The World Steel Dan - Do It Again |
