Well Paul you very effectively killed this thread.
Well, he started it so he can do whatever he wants with it.

I won't say, it's fair to start a thread with a certain OP and then give it a completely unexpected turn according to the OP. This pissed me off extraordinarily here, as I wouldn't post in this thread at all if I expected all the mega listing.

23. HAPPY THE MAN       A biblical reference maybe? A poem by John Dryden? Or a little-known early song by Genesis? Either way, Happy the Man were happy to be signed to Clive Davis' Arista Records label after he told them, "Wow, I don't really understand your music, it's way above my head, but my A & R guy says you're incredible, so welcome to Arista!" - only to be unceremoniously dropped like a hot brick from the label after their second album Crafty Hands failed to make any significant commercial impact. Such are the harsh realities of the cutthroat music business, where even the mighty Genesis were dropped from their record label (Decca) after dismal sales of their first album, before signing with the specialist prog label, Charisma Records. Happy the Man were busy working on their third album Labyrinth in 1979, but the album fell by the wayside and wouldn't see general release until 1990 (after signing with Wayside Records) and fittingly retitled 3rd - Better Late..., proving once again that you can't keep a good band down.

4 stars 1977: Happy the Man - Happy the Man - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOGFXDCgNnM&list=RDuOGFXDCgNnM&start_radio=1
5 stars 1978: Happy the Man - Crafty Hands - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLN3FGzYjV1zAtIWPyrkBYTENvaVx9vQ9I
                 1990: Happy the Man - 3rd - Better Late...
1990: Happy the Man - Beginnings
                 1999: Happy the Man - Death's Crown
2004: Happy the Man - The Muse Awakens - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_k05hzNwA3UA2xsEnHTokmowo5c01GFCB8

I'd say it like, Paul's tastes are rather different from those of an average progger or progressive-music aficionado.

It's by now quite a long story.

I hope I don't across as sounding too much like a Paul apologist and maybe he'll try to reign it in a little bit in the future but no one on here cares as much about prog and sharing the music as he does. Just know that, although he might get carried away at times, his heart is in the right place and I doubt he's deliberately trying to piss anyone off. That said I can see both sides but I think it's important to know Paul isn't some troll. I've seen trolls and jerks on here and Paul isn't one of them. ;)

Maybe it's good for you, too.

I have also to say that it's very difficult for me to find the good point of all your mega listings, ratings and linkings.
