Jumpin' Jehoshaphat! It's July!

Attention Fans of Musical Niches:

It’s that time again!   And this month, I have a perfect 10 for you. Ten artists from almost as many genres will appear on my "Nickie's Niches," segment on Chuck Simons’ “Top 10” show, airing tomorrow morning, July 1st. The show begins at 10AM CT, on Progrock.com

The show includes mini-reviews and a tune from each of my Bandcamp and other purchases from last month. Focus is on a wide variety of music, with an emphasis on chamber prog, ambient, world, soundtrack, psych, and acid/wyrd/dark folk, most with a progressive twist.

There will a podcast available on Progrock afterwards, if it’s at an inconvenient time for a live listen. To join the chat, go to progrock.com and click on Chat link at top of page.

Following my segment will be Dennis’ Time Machine. Link to Progrock.com https://progrock.com/

Can't recommend this show enough. For everyone who loves melodic prog (and some non-prog) with folk, classical, songwriter, and jazz influences. Yeah, it's MUSIC as it should be!

I make typos so you see I'm not a machine, but I may be a machine pretending to not be a machine.

Attention Fans of Musical Niches!

From the Department of Prog Folk Notifications Department, this just in.

"Nickie's Niches," will be presenting a Prog Folk show as a guest offering on Chuck Simons’ “Top 10” show, tomorrow, July 8th, from 8:00 AM - 10 AM PT, on Progrock.com.

This is another edition of Keeping The Prog Folk Flames Alive, and will feature several artists that have taken up the torch for Psych Folk and carried it from 2006 until 2025.

Following my segment will be a special Ranking the Albums with songs by INXS, presented by that mischievous DJ Scott Loki. Little known fact, I love INXS, this should be a really fun show!

There will a podcast available on progrock afterwards, if it’s at an inconvenient time for a live listen. To join the chat, go to progrock.com and click on Chat link at top of page.

Attention Fans of Musical Niches:

It’s that time again!   And this month, I am going to 11. Eleven artists from almost as many genres will appear on my "Nickie's Niches," segment on Chuck Simons’ “Top 10” show, airing tomorrow morning, July 29th.

Following my segment will be Dennis Gaylor, who will be Ranking the Albums of Trapeze. Link to Progrock.com https://progrock.com/

This month, tune in an hour early to catch DJ Scott Loki mischievously presenting a sneeeeky pop-up show, with the emphasis on Pop. Late 60's Sunshine Pop, that is, in honour of Summer. 9AM - 10AM CT
