In through the outdoor is very different from the other Zep albums, but an excellent album still. It's interesting to hear JP Jones' impact when he has more input. even if you don't lie it, it's worth it if only for "All of My Love." I would say it's underrated, not many people put it on top, at least not outside of the smaller fan base we see here.
I would say that III seems like the most groundbreaking album, where they steer away form harcore bluesiness, and move into something new. It seems a lot less polished than IV to me though, but I still love it. It does start stronger than it ends though.

It was tough, but...
1. When the Levee Breaks
2. Dazed & Confused
3. Kashmir
4. Hey Hey What Can I Do?
5. How Many More Times
There are many more in the Zeppelin Canon

And Jesus said unto John, "come forth and receive eternal life..."
Unfortunately, John came fifth and was stuck with a toaster.

Even favorite album is pretty well impossible to judge, because of the incredible diversity from one to another. Perhaps the most polished, and actually "best" woudl be Houses of the Holy, but very hard ot say.
Don't disregard Robert Plant's solo either. Robby Blunt is an awesome guitarist, and in his early work he still sings very well. Not to mention Phil Collins in his very early work. Walking into Clarksdale is great too, with Plant and Page, and I have a PAge solo, which isn't bad, but Maybe not worth it. JP Jones is apparently amazing, and rather progressive.

Houses of the Holy is actually the only LZ-album I still listen to every now and then, so I guess my favorite songs come from that album. I'm not a big fan.

Led Zeppelin made six great albums (the first six IMHO). Though the
others weren't bad at all either. So this is really hard to pick the
best but I'll try.
Achilles Last Stand
Kashmir
Since I've Been Loving You
Thank You
Friends
My favourite LZ album would probably be LZ III.

Soooooo many is right!
In no particular order:
In My Time of Dying
Since I've Been Loving You
No Quarter
Dazed and Confused
The Lemon Song
The Rain Song
Over The Hills and Far Away
Stairway to Heaven
Moby Dick
Gallow's Pole
Very difficult to stop. The only Led Zeppelin song I don't care for is The Crunge and it is not so bad that I skip it. I probably play LZ I, Houses of the Holy and Physical Graffiti the most.

In mo particular order:
No Quarter
Babe I'm gonna leave you,
Dazed and Cofused
Gallow's Pole
Battle of Evermore
Since I've Been Loving you
that's six , I know
next five : Rock'n Roll, Black dog , Achille's Last stand, Stairway and Ramble on.
I hads no Zeppelin Cd's until those mini Lp sleeves came out recently (fairly cheap too ) . So i had not listened to my vinyls for 10 years and that was a welcome rest from Zeppelin.

Inverted snobbery going on here!!!
For me:
1.Stairway To Heaven 2.Immigration Song 3.Kashmir 4.When The Levee breaks 5.Going To California
IV is a superb album, one of the greatest ever.

Oh did Zep do Stairway to Heaven?? I never knew that. I thought Rolf Harris did the original, is Zeps version better

I saw this thread earlier but just could not decide on a best 5 but ive just listened to 3 led zep albums and have decided on
Babe Im gonna miss you - Robert's voice is just so seductive and passionate on this track
Black Dog- ive always loved this one, once again its Robs vocals that do it for me!
Carouselambra- I love the repetitive synth sound on this track and its a real upbeat song (unusual for Zep)
Rock and Roll- This just rocks!!
Whole Lotta Love- I love the spacy bit in the middle and I know this tune has been over played but its got to be the best riff ever!!
I know if i listened to the same albums tomorrow id say a totally different selection
