Two Zappa songs that make fun of the disco scene in the late 70s. Dancing Fool for me

I may be totally wrong but I will vote for

Dancin' Fooooool....oooool

I'm not crazy about either song, but the lyrics to DF are just a little better.   Disco Boy also leaves a bad taste in my mouth for its scene in Baby Snakes where the camera just zooms in on Frank flirting with that starstruck stoned fangirl for 5 minutes.

Neither are anywhere near my favorite Zappa songs. I assume we're talking about the originals for both. Disco Boy is a lot better live, but it's original studio version is waayyyyy too slow. Dancin' Fool has it's moments, so I went with that.

I like that part. I'll bet Frank banged her.

My favorite part is when Frank "plays" Roy Estrada, and the performance of Dinah-Moe Humm.

The Baby Snakes album makes me crack up every time.

It's a good shot, but it just overstays its welcome IMO.   I get it Frank, you can still wow the girls.

Definitely a fool for Fool.  Disco Boy is a little annoying but it has some good lines."Disco boy! Run to toilet and comb your hair."  "you never go doody that's what you think."

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...
