hahah.. NEVER change. Put 10 fans in a room and 5 will take the first album and the other 5 the 2nd album. You know Jim.. I think that split right down the middle as to which album is truly best likely kept both (and group) out of the album contest. I would have chosen the first.. since I do think it is the better album. .thus likely having the best chance to advance

I find it curious that the KW albums which sound most acutely German and feel that way in their entire aesthetic concept are those devoted to transportation. I. e. this one and Autobahn.
What about Tour de France Soundtracks? Does that sound German as well, or more French? Regardless, that would make up a transportation trilogy, wouldn't it?
Anyway, me before:
Høst - Live & Unreleased (2001)
Now:
Junipher Greene - Friendship (1971)
First full listen. The first Norwegian double album, so it's important for historical reasons, but the music's pretty good as well. Heavy prog influenced by British bands of the time, including Tull, with some really nice flute, but with that twist so typical for Norwegian (prog) bands of the period, i.e. English vocals with Norwegian accent , giving it a certain, at least for me , homely charm.
