If I find time, and if I remember, I might check them out just to see why they might ave no votes here.... 😄

Don't remember exactly when or where I got the CD, but I vaguely remember liking the name, and wanting to check them out.  The poll inclusion prompted me to listen to the whole album for the first time last night...

My guess is most PA folks wouldn't like most of the music, but some would like some of the music, because it has some (rather excellent) Jazz-rock elements, and plenty of off-beats and time signature changes.

Primarily, though, its a mix of electronic R&B, Hip-hop, and house.  I suppose you might call it "Progressive R&B", though on Wikepedia its characterized as "Nu Jazz" and/or "Chill-out". (Also found out they were a German group, a little surprising to me).

Here's the piece I liked the most on the album: reminds me a bit of Herbie Hancock, plus you can hear some Latin-Jazz influence:

It´s a tie between Hammill and Caravan for me. My vote goes to Peter this time.

Some other favorites:

Popol Vuh - In Den Garten Pharaos
Gnidrolog - In Spite of Harry's Toenail
Henry Cow - In Praise of Learning
Unexpect - In a Flesh Aquarium
Radiohead - In Rainbows
Deep Purple - In Rock

Argent were one of the great second division prog bands of the early 70's, as well as In Deep (1973) I'd recommend All Together Now (1972) as essential listening for the curious prog fan.

Wind and Wuthering?

I believe that some re-releases of their debut album were re-titled as 'In the Beginning'.

^Calling the Genesis debut album a breakthrough would be a bit of an exaggeration. But then, Wind and Wuthering is not much of a breakthrough either (though a much stronger one of course).

If Innuendo counts, so does Innervisions by Stevie Wonder.

Some other favourites:
C.V. Jørgensen - Indian Summer
Gnags - Intercity
Nirvana - In Utero
Shugo Tokumaru - In Focus?

Exactly, I think I rated the debut album as 2 stars on here.
