May Blitz their 2 albums, VDGG, Aerosol grey Machine through Still Life, KArcius' first one. For a prog head, try Voivod first two albums - RRROOOOOOAAAAAR & War And Pain, THe first Yes, Genesis, & Dave Clark 5 albums.

Symphony X - V: The New Mythology Suite

I'll admit I haven't listened to it many times, but I haven't particularly liked it when I have.

I'll be fair and say a bad Tull album. In fact, I'll say THE bad Tull album. I'll say...ROCK ISLAND. It's worse than even Big Generator, which had a decent song here or there. Besides, I expect better from Tull.

I'm serious too. I want to know what albums people really don't like and would not normally recommend.
And I don't do anything to try and increase my post count I just  end up posting a lot in the VR. Embarrassed

Tha REAL hate thread!!!

ART AND ILLUSION - Monolithos and Seasons (boring awfully recorded neo. I like Neo but not that much!)

GANDALF - Colors Of A New Dawn, Reflection, Echoes From Ancient Dreams, Into The Light and Colours Of The Earth(if you want to fall asleep)

RADIOHEAD - Kid A(I'm serious.Only 1 good song here - "How to disappear Completely")

ARCTURUS - Aspera Heims Symfonia/Constellation/My Angel(neither Prog nor Black Metal.Ugly)

FOR ABSENT FRIENDS - The Big Room(this is not even Prog)

ARK (ENG) - Cover Me With Rain(same here!)

ULVER - Perdition City (this is not even music!)

PAIN OF SALVATION - Scarsick(no comments!)

Oh, you like RUSH...OK, stop here.

Interesting how far can we get

A really bad album from a favourite band of mine? Under Wraps by Jethro Tull comes to mind first. That one really isn't my cup of wonder. Also, I'm not that enthusiastic about such albums as Ummagumma by Pink Floyd, Vapor Trails by Rush and probably would not like the first Genesis album either (if I had it), judging from the versions on Archives 1.

Oops, sorry. Karcius' debut is actually just not too interesting, but it's not bad (imo). The two first Voivod albums would be "bad" for a proghead, as they are mainly screaming mid-80s (before hair was farmed) metal, & I do actually like about half of the music on them. & the Dave Clark 5 made great singles, but bad albums as most mid 60s "pop" acts did until the Beatles showed the world the lightWink
This WTF, what music do they play ?Big%20smile
