Well, in my country the losing side pays the fees of the other side's lawyers - so there should be plenty of the money left

Maybe, but how sure can we be that the government won't seize it to finance its' commission of inquiry into the sly homosexual lure of the Teletubbies ? Big%20smile

Well, in that case all the money would go to cover the lawyer's fees for preventing the seizure of the remaining money - but do not worry after many years we would get compensation from another government and we would be able to help contemporary prog bands, which by that time will win the status of legends, who were that close to the success but failed due to the lack of financial support

With the many back & forth threads re : prog's popularity back in the day ... if I had a billion dollars, I would now blow some of it on statistical studies to see what % of record sales & concert tickets were for prog groups versus a breakdown of the other concurrent genresConfused

If I were to finance a band it would definitely be king crimson. I could buy myself a position in the band and live my dream; being a member of king crimson! Of course in reality, i'd use the money to further my own various, highly non-commercial musical pursuits which probably won't make me any money in this day and age. Yep, i'd buy a recording studio, set up my own record label, buy a thousand guitars and other instruments...if only I had such a vast fortune!
for those about to prog, we salute you.

Regardless of the money put into Crimson, you will soon be fired by Robert Fripp, who would judge you as not being 'Crimzo enough'

I'd build a good studio and bribe some of my more talented musician friends to play a mixture between Indie Rock, Jazz and Sludge Metal (with occasional Post-Rock moments) with me!

I'd hire them for the next bachelor party I'm invited to. Just to see who's uncomfortable around Tinky Winky LOLLOLLOL. After that I'd have them break into Eddie Van Halen house after he's been on a bender & have them tell him David Lee Roth was the genius in the band Big%20smile

Well, more daring would be wearing yourself violet or purple and carrying the red woman's bag

Oh no, then I'd have to keep an eye out for Alex Van Halen, for when he popped out from under his brother's bed ...
