Kind of Tool meets Karnivool, with a bit of commercial appeal.

Love to hear your thoughts!!!

Cairo is a modern prog band from the U.S.A. with similar elements of ELP.
Check them out if you haven't heard these guys yet. They're awesome.

One of the most beautiful album ever made ! 76 minutes of happyness. Not very progressive in the songs but in the unusual lasting (in 1969) of some of the pieces and of course in the sructure of that album (introduction, body, conclusion).

Hey guys,

Seeing as this thread's dedicated to recommendations I'd like to suggest my band Quandary:

www.quandaryband.com

We're an Australian band that I think fit most closely to the neo-prog genre.

I've submitted us to the archives but still waiting on a response.

To: The Truth
IEM sounds like Psychedelic/Space Rock with their ethereal synth laden background mix. Thanks for the hyperlink. I'll checkout some of their other stuff.

I recommend.
4Front, a progressive Rock Jazz Band. Magellan, Transatlantic, Explorers Club, Flower Kings. Enchant has some good stuff. And last but not least is (Planet X) especially their latest album Quantum.
