Definitely Eno and Byrne's "My Life in the Bush of Ghosts" for me.
I bought it when it came out not and was unprepared for what I was getting into. The situation was exacerbated by a hearty beef stroganoff with plenty of fresh mushrooms. My friends and I listened after consuming the stroganoff and settling into a certain kind of groove. We couldn't believe our ears. The next morning we listened again to see if our nutritional choice had influenced our perception of the music. We were relieved to realize that the album is totally original, delightfully weird, and that our nutritional choice merely contributed to mutual good feelings of warmth, friendship, and jocularity.
