I really like Neal Morse. What are your favorite releases where he was involved? Here's the poll:

Neal Morse Release Poll

See the instructions on the page for how to participate. If you don't want to post a list through AP then feel free to post your own list here, and I might also import it at AP at some point.

Here's my top 10:

1. Neal Morse - One
2. Neal Morse - The Similitude of a Dream
3. Transatlantic - SMPT:e [SPO]
4. Neal Morse - ?
5. Neal Morse - Sola Scriptura
6. Transatlantic - Bridge Across Forever [BC] [SPO]
7. Neal Morse - Testimony [SPO]
8. Neal Morse - The Great Adventure
9. Spock's Beard - V
10. Spock's Beard - Snow

^ Interesting! Very different lists. Have you not heard the later NMB releases yet or did they just not make the cut?

They didn't make the cut. I've heard all four and have the first two on CD. I like them all, but not as much as his work with SB. He's got a rather large discography and if I extended it out to top 20, probably at least two of them would make it (The Grand Experiment and The Great Adventure).

^ Interesting! I'll listen to the old SB releases again, haven't heard them in almost 10 years.

As usual, whenever I paste my results from AP, it never looks the way it should

Edit: well at least it's more readable now that it was

He's got an overwhelming amount of albums (33 according to his PA page). If i was to give him another chance, i would not even know where to start.

Some of us also rate the releases in the lists, which can be helpful as a context (e.g. how far are the top and bottom entries apart in terms of how much the user likes them, on which level are they in general).

So as of now you can include your rating (as a tier letter) in the export:

1. [S] Neal Morse - One
2. [S] Neal Morse - The Similitude of a Dream
3. [S] Transatlantic - SMPT:e [BC] [SPO]
4. [S] Neal Morse - ?
5. [S] Neal Morse - Sola Scriptura
6. [S] Transatlantic - Bridge Across Forever [BC] [SPO]
7. [S] Neal Morse - Testimony [SPO]
8. [S] Neal Morse - The Great Adventure
9. [A] Spock's Beard - V
10. [A] Spock's Beard - Snow

^ 12-15 are 'B' tier but that didn't quite come out when I copied the code.

^ I’ll fix that this weekend.

Interesting to see that you rate question mark so low. So far I see no emerging pattern across the lists 😊
