Topic: Asia live on XM Posted: September 17 2006 at 18:57 |
On Monday, the 18th (tomorrow) on XM channel 8 the four original members of Asia will be interviewed. Also, there will be an acoustic concert according to the email from XM.
I'll be listening in, it sounds pretty good to me.
Of course, this is only for North America listeners since XM is only available there. You can get XM online, too. I think it's about $6 US per month.

Thanks,
I'm not a huge Asia fan, but I'll be there.
What time?

I just listened to it. Kinda short, but very enjoyable. A nice interview about what they thought about modern music and a short interview abou their thoughts on some Asia songs and their tour.
They played two songs: Don't Cry and I cant remember the name of the other one. Nice songs though.

You're right, it was too short. I had hoped for more, but it was enjoyable. They played Ride Easy, The smile has left your eyes, and Don't Cry that I can remember.
I'm angry with myself, Asia was in Chicago last Saturday, the 16th, and I completely missed it. I wasn't paying attention, work gets in the way, I'm sure you know how it is.
They have released a remastered disc called Gold that looks pretty good. I'll have to look for that.
