I know, it is barely a creative title, but what is better to say for introducing yourself?

I have often visited the site and the forum, and now finally decided to join.
It has been about two years or so that I first got in touch with some kind of "progressive music", which in my case was Dream Theater. The music fascinated me, as I liked metal and the longer songs of it. Progressive Metal is up to now my favorite genre. Though, I lately became very interested in the older prog music. When I was looking in my dad's CD-collection, the cover of "Dark Side Of The Moon" caught my interest. The music was different to what I used to listen to. In my dad's collection also were some CDs of Genesis and Jethro Tull, Alan Parsons Project and so on. I really liked the music, and somehow I found this site here.

For I already listened to some Symphonic Prog, Psychedelic, Prog Metal and Electronic, the music of Post Rock and Zeuhl are next for me to explore. I hope the side and their members will help me Smile

And, please excuse the simple language I use. I am a student from Germany with English in the fifth year, however it is not my best subject.Wink
