Greetings there!

I was a former Depeche Mode and Recoil fan for quite a while , listened to some industrial like fad gadget or einsturzende neubauten or nin.

I discovered prog via three ways.

One is through Peter Gabriel I pretty much liked, and ofc I wanted to check his group work. Genesis with PG soon became one of my favorite bands of all time, and The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, after a short time - my favorite album.

The other is through Pink Floyd I also used to listen much. For me tho, they are 'kings of psychedelic music', not prog. For me, the rating will go like this:

1. The Piper at the gates of Dawn

2. Wish you were here

3. Meddle

4. Atom Heart Mother

5. Dark Side of the Moon

The third way was by the "In Court of the Crimson King" and Discipline I occasionally listened. I'm not done with their discography yet, but my favourite KC album ATM is surely "Larks' tongues in Aspic".

irl I study CS in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Feel free to ask anything and thanks for reading my small intro, I really like this forum! :)
