Dear Friends

Last year Balinade posted here and got very worm feedbacks from many of you. We have been working hard in the last 6 months to pull up our live show - "The Horseless Saddle Tour" which will go live on May 2012 and will be played along a very trippy video art made by a very hallucinative artist... It's worth waiting for!
We worked hard and we appriciate your inputs!

Thanks

Balinade

Listened to this vid, and also the rest of your album on bandcamp. Enjoyed it tremendously, I must say!! Surprised to see that you were evaluated for inclusion in the archives in Crossover sub genre a while back, and rejected. It must have been a fairly close decision for those guys, even though all three votes cast were ultimately 'no' votes. Hopefully album number two, when it arrives, will bring you better luck. In the meantime, I wish you all the very best with your tour - it deserves to be a great success. Thumbs Up

Hi Yam Yam

Thanks a lot for your great feedback!

It's realy cool to hear you liked the album so much. I was not aware of the voting for inclusion in the archives, glad to hear this went on in the background... We are recodring the album with a new singer, added some guitars for the boost and releasing it soon -I promise you will enjoy the album much more after hearing what we have done. Maybe this will buy us a place in the archives without the need to wait for the 2nd album... :-)

I realy hope your wishes will come true regarding our tour. We are working very hard in the last 6 month to pull this one up and I think it will be a facinating hallucination to go through... hope to see you one day in the UK!

Again, thanks a lot for your words

Doron

Hi Doron.
Yes, as a result of your post in 'Suggest New Bands & Artists' forum last year: http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=76854, the members of the Crossover team listened to it and a vote was taken to see if they thought it was appropriate for adding to the archives. There are five members in the team, but once there were three 'no' votes cast the other two didn't need to vote, since they couldn't now affect the outcome. The policy on Progarchives is that no fresh evaluation can be made until either a reasonable amount of new material is released (album or EP), or some older material is discovered which was not listened to as part of the original evaluation process.
As far as I understand it, the follow up evaluation has to be a unanimous 'yes' vote too if a band has previously been rejected on here.

Hopefully you do have new material in the pipeline - you must have been pretty close to being successful last time judging by the quality of the 'Horseless Saddle' abum I heard on bandcamp. I very much look forward to hearing more music from you on bandcamp in the near future, and of course maybe seeing you play live if you visit the UK to perform your work.

I have 'liked' your facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Balinade/183449131684045, so I will automatically receive any updates you post on there, and of course you can always tell us of any new stuff you have available to listen to by posting it in this forum.

Wishing you all the very best!!  Thumbs Up
