Actual Fantasy, only because the Star One album is a live
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Ayreon's Actual Fantasy (although I like the "revisited" version of 2004 better). Every time I post, the forum throws consonants at me.

Actual Fantasy. I fed a steak into the paper shredder, and it gave me tofu!

Before joining ProgArchives, I only knew one album in the poll - and it's the same album too. Mother Earth is one of only two CD albums I own in the poll (the other being Delain's April Rain), so I'm tempted to vote for Within Temptation again. Smile

I was thinking the same thing. I have only two of these which actually surprised me.
Day Six over Sun Caged. And I am happy to vote for "The Grand Design".

For something different to my usual fare, I am listening to The Grand Design now and enjoying it more than I would have expected to.    Most of the "metal" I have listened to in recent years has been post-metal methinks.
Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I observed before. It can be much like that with music for me; immersed in experiencing the moment.

The Ayreon is one of my most appreciated album of all time, so I guess there no competition on this one from my point of view Wink

I must have been half asleep when I added Morphia to the poll, bearing in mind it's a Death Metal album, complete with honey monster growls. Confused

Greg, in so many of these polls I go by my lists or memory. I hope one day when my reviewing has become a trickle, to actually spin these records before voting. I have done that before, but it's so time consuming. I couldn't even tell you what Day Six is like other than how high I rated it in my review. Glad you like it! And to be fair I've gone through almost all the sub genres of late except Metal, Electronic and Folk. Day Six is such a distant memory that I hope to correct in a year or so. I can't see my tastes changing much going forward at my age. It has been a whirlwind on here.
