Best songs in general, or best songs on the tribute album?
Because I haven't heard the album, only the originals. |

La Villa is my favorite Rush song. But I also love Mission, Freewill, By-Tor and The Trees. I saw Rush 3 weeks ago and could not believe how great Freewill was live. Geddy could really hit those high notes! I couldn't believe it.

"Working Man", "By-Tor And The Snow Dog", "La Villa Strangiato", "Mission", "Anthem", "Closer To The Heart" (my preferred AOR and Metal ballad... And Prog, of course) and "YYZ".
But in this tribute album sure... "Anthem"!!! Edited by Mandrakeroot - September 25 2007 at 11:33 |

I'm glad La Villa Strangiato is out in front - last time I mentioned this version in PA I got jumped on from all directions, seemingly Rush were then sacrosanct.

Yes, it is horrible. Weird blue sculpture with no penis and horrendous font type choice, not to mention the basic overall diagramation... |

You can choose from phantom jams and prog w**ks that can kill, I will choose a song that's good, I will choose Freewill.

I don't listen to cover bands and i don't think i ever will. Why would i support a band that can't even contruct it's own music and instead re-cycles the music of another artist? Any high school garage band can do that!

Wooops... I voted without reading the first post... I didn't know it was about a tribute to Rush... Anyway, my vote was for Jacob's Ladder... and luckily it was also the only song I had heard from the Working Man tribute...
