I'm surprised "Matte Kudasai" didn't make the list...one of my favorite KC tracks of all time. Also missing the tremendously heavy "Indiscipline"...and nothing at all wins from "3 of a Perfect Pair"?

Oh well, tough choices had to be made.

In today's Diary entry, KC doyen Sid Smith lists specific post-1980 King Crimson tracks that give him the buzz, and I'm taking the liberty of reproducing it:

I was recently asked via an email which 80s – 00s Crim gave me the golden walnut. Here’s what I said:

Frame by Frame (Discipline version)
The Sheltering Sky (As above)
Neil and Jack And Me (Beat version)
Neurotica (Philly 82 KCCC version)
Requiem (Beat)
Entry of The Crims / LTIA PtIII (Absent Lovers)
Vrooom/Coda (Vrooom ep version)
Dinosaur(Thrak version)
Vrooom Vrooom (Vrooom Vrooom version)
21st Century Schizoid Man (As above)
ConstruKction of Light (Level Five ep)
LTIA IV (Heavy ConstruKction version)
Heaven & Earth (Heaven & Earth PX version)
Level Five (TPTB)
Dangerous Curves (Level Five ep)
Facts of Life (TPTB)
The Power To Believe I - IV run as a sequence

I would have to add just about any version of The Deception of the Thrush and the P4 version of Seizure from the second night at Boulder. That one really gave me the shivers.
